Uruguay National Team, Currently in 7th at FIFA World Ranking, is playing in Group D at FIFA World Cup 2014. Uruguay team have their best ranking in 2012, they were at 2nd. Uruguay played their first international match against Argentina in 1902. Argentina had won the match and next year in 1902 July 20 Uruguay had defeated by Argentina by 6-0, which is their biggest defeat in international matches. In 1927 Uruguay made their biggest victory over Bolivia (9-0). Uruguay were appearing for 12th FIFA world Cup, they were the winners in 1930 and 1950. They were had won the Copa America 15 times from 41 appearance. Óscar Tabárez is the head coach of Uruguay and Diego Lugano is the current captain. Uruguay won the last two Group Stage matches after the loss of first match against Costa Rica, and reached to round of sixteen.
